Reflections to Guide You on Your Healing

Generosity Just Isn’t Money – August 21, 2025

Generosity is so hard for many of us. Because our past experiences were never true generosity or because of internalized shame accepting the generosity from others is really challenging.

Many of us believe that we have to reciprocate someone else’s generosity in the same way it was given tous. That’s not generosity, that’s transaction.

True generosity is about us receiving someone else’s and not being expected to do the same in return.

Today we’re beings sked to open ourselves up to only receive generosity but to also be generous.

There’s all of this talk about “community” but what are you doing to help foster it? Being generous is one way to do so.

“But Caren, money’s tight.” I get it. So, what else can you do? I bet you have time to volunteer a few hours a month. I see that look on your face. The excuses you’re coming up with. I feel the discomfort of being asked to step out of your comfort zone from here.

Embodying the 6 of Pentacles forces us to step out of our comfort zone. To share our time, energy, presence with others, within our capacity to do so. And I’m guessing you have more capacity than you’re letting on.

The 6 of Pentacles is also about not bragging or flaunting about how we’re being generous with others. What we do to help uplift and support our community should be a private thing. If you are doing it for the accolades, then it’s not generosity, it’s performance.

So, today, what’s something you can do to share your abundance with your community? Get creative. Think outside the box. And go do it.

Learn the Rules to Break the Rules – August 19, 2025

The Hierophant can be a hard one for those of us who grew up in conservative Christian traditions. The imagery in the Rider Waite Smith deck doesn’t help alleviate any of that unease.

But the thing is The Hierophant isn’t saying you have to follow tradition or the out dated ways of doing things. He’s giving you the information and then leaving it up to you on how you choose to apply it.

He’s telling you without telling you that you should be questioning what he’s sharing with you. Learn it all. But then find the cracks, the holes, the unstable areas and make necessary changes that are more in line with the more just, equal, and equitable society you’re working on creating.

AND

You can’t be doing it alone.

Where in your day today can you spend time examining the thought patterns and beliefs that you have? Are they what you really believe? Or are they something somebody told you you need to believe? If they’re not what you truly believe, what steps can you take to change the rules for yourself?

And then find others who want the same future you do and work with them to rewrite the rules

Change is Coming – August 14, 2025

The Wheel is telling us that change is coming, the Wheel is going to start moving again. It may not come as fast as we’d like, but it’s still happening. We need to remember that Human time and Universe time are two different things.

Sometimes that’s a hard one to recognize or to accept. When we’re in the middle of things falling apart it can be especially hard to see the places where healing is happening.

The Wheel is reminding us that as the shifts happen to take a step back, find your center, and see where.

Because more is happening than more what’s being reported on by the corporate owned news sources.

More Than a Verdict – August 12, 2025

Justice is a practice.

It invites us to hold ourselves and others accountable from a place of restoration, not retribution.

It asks us to end cycles of harm, even the ones we inherited.

It encourages us to align what we believe with how we actually behave — in our personal lives and in our communities.

And here’s the thing: Justice isn’t always easy. The scales tip, we recalibrate, and we try again. But every time we choose restoration, we ripple healing out into the world.

So as you move through your day today, I’d like you to think about the following:
• Where in your life can you practice Justice as restoration, not punishment?
And
• What’s one step you can take this week to bring your actions into alignment with your truth?

Unfair Expectations? – August 10, 2025

It’s Clarity Not Confusion – August 8, 2025

It’s Time to Flip Some Tables – August 7, 2025

The quo can no longer be statused.

It’s time to flip some tables against the injustices happening in our communities and the world

How are you going to show up?

The Walls Come Crumbling Down – August 5, 2025

For a long time Tarot was used solely as a tool about individual healing, but many Tarot readers and writers are flipping its script and are approaching it from the perspective of “we” and not “me”. To use Tarot as a tool to help heal The Collective.

That said, even if we keep it within a more individualistic frame, that Tarot is about your personal healing and no one else’s, you’re still being called to level up.

To dig through the rubble.
To see where your ego got in the way of your growth.
To take stock of how you’ve been treating other people.
Which means: your Tower moment can never only be about your own healing.

The Tower isn’t just collapse, it’s clarity. It strips away the illusions we’ve outgrown.

What’s left might feel raw, but it’s real.

So, let yourself feel that realness— and know it’s the beginning of your return to yourself, and your community.

A New Legacy – July 31, 2025

We’re being guided to reevaluate the legacy we want to leave behind.

Do we want to keep participating in the White Supremacist Capitalist System?

Or do we want to leave behind something that is more inclusive more equitable that benefits everyone, not just a few?

We’re not just here to heal the generational trauma but also to upend the way we think about abundance & what is important.

As you move through your day think about the legacy you’re creating and make the necessary adjustments so as many people as possible can benefit from your gifts as possible.

Can We Talk About The Star? – July 30, 2025

The Star is about hope.

But not just your hope.

Or my hope.

It’s the hope held by The Collective.

And sometimes it’s really f*cking hard to have hope.

For those of us who find it easier to have hope, it is on us to share it with those who struggle to find it or to see it. In time as they grow their hope they’ll be able to be that person for someone else or even us.

Stars by themselves aren’t bright.

But together? They light the way for others
